The 9th entry into the Heat Rock catalog dives deep into Memphis Soul / Funk territory with a pair of ‘stems’ remixes. The A-side features a track from Chicago’s Altered Tapes crew and their take on a West Coast Gangster Rap classic. And on the flip, Oakland’s own DJ Platurn banged out a drum break-heavy edit and homage to one of our favorite, early cut ‘n paste producers. Cop doubles for all your wax addiction needs!
