The 12th entry into the Heat Rock catalog is almost here and we’re taking a trip to the Equator! Just In time for Summer, the tropical vibes abound on this release. Featuring a dancehall-flavored flip of a Brand Nubian frontman classic on the A-side (by the Texas-based DJ & Producer Nick Nack - who also makes his Heat Rock debut on this 45!), while the B-side boasts a drum-heavy Altered Tapes Brazilian / Bossa / B-Boy remix of one our favorite Dilla productions. Doubles are recommended!
The artwork for this series was designed by talented Mike2600 of BRLSQ, and inspired by vintage 7inch factory sleeve designs. The limited edition 45s include custom cover art and colored vinyl. (A black wax version with a different label color scheme will be available for pre-order 9/19/22).
